We Apologize for the Delay

I realize it has been quite some time since a real update but I promise, there has been good reason (and if you are on facebook, you probably already know it.) There has been much going on in the Boyles household(s) these days – here is a little bit of what we have been up to.

Gville Visitors

We had a visit from one of our favorite Atlantans to the Ville, which called for a night on the town. We had a great dinner at dragonfly and lots to catch up on! I will certainly miss being in Gainesville for these visits but more on than later…

Kylee’s Horse Show

Kylee had a horseshow and she did fantastic! Its a small show outside Ocala and a perfect one for beginner riders to amp up on their confidence – which is exactly what she did, even beating some adults in her classes!  IMG_2258

Zip sleeping while Kylee picks his hooves.

A proud Kylee and all her ribbons. Zip was ecstatic too – can’t you tell?

Atlanta

I drove up to Atlanta for a weekend with my favorite set of sisters. I adore these girls and must have my McCoun fix every few months. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them!

1st Annual Salt Springs Poker RunIMG_2323

We gathered with nearly 10 other boats to travel through Lake George and up the St Johns for a bar-hopping Poker Run. Now, I don’t know how to play poker and I certainly didn’t win – but I did have a blast!

A little paybacks on the way back to the boat ramp.

Booger. Lil Bit. Batty. TuxIMG_2369

I found this little guy wandering a busy highway in Lake Butler while I was finishing up work one day. I stopped to see if I could find his owner but no one knew where he came from. So, I reluctantly texted to Jeff to let him know there might be a new addition at the house when he got home that evening. Lil Bit is still with us and still looking for a forever home. If you know anyone in the market for a great little friend, he is the one!

LASTLY – but certainly not least. We Moved! We found a house in my hometown of Ocala (about 40 minutes from where we currently live) and both fell in love. It is just a few minutes from my parents’ house, in the neighborhood/school zones that I wanted, and has lots of backyard space that Jeff required. It needs some work but nothing that we can’t handle and don’t enjoy doing anyway! So, we look forward to updating with lots of home improvement projects. I finished one yesterday but forgot to take before pictures!

Happy Memorial Day everyone!
